While it’s hard to believe we’ve found ourselves in the final month of 2017, it’s even harder to believe the struggles some of the less fortunate face, especially around the holiday season.

We have been financially fortunate at the OmahaCharts household over the past several years and I know that many of the readers of this site have been as well. We have food on our tables, warm clothes, and extra cash on hand to go out and buy some of the latest gadgets that are delivered to our doorsteps in two business days. Some of our fortunes are a result of the early mornings, long nights, time spent away from loved ones, and determination. Some however is a result of luck and being blessed to be in a decent paying job, or having found a skill we are good at that is marketable. Whatever you want to attribute our successes to, the most important thing we can do is to give back to those who are are not so lucky.

One thing I have learned about myself over the years is that almost nothing in this world makes me feel more fulfilled than giving to those who are in need. This year, I would love for you folks to share in the joy of giving with me. Here is the favor I ask of anyone who comes across this post…

Anything you can spare whether that be a couple hours of your time, some extra cash in your pocket, etc. Document that, screenshot it and email it to me at [email protected], or tweet it to me @omahacharts. By the end of the month I will put together a post with pictures of all of our selfless acts.

Maybe you made some extra money from a trade setup you saw on my blog or another blog. Donate whatever you can to any charity of your choice, and send me the screenshot of your gift of giving. Let’s get the trading and finance community together and do the best we can to lend a hand this holiday season. I don’t care if it’s $20 or $2000. Maybe you help shovel snow for your elderly neighbor. I want to know about it. Share this with your friends, retweet, etc. and let’s make the holidays brighter for those who may need a helping hand.

I will be posting one of my gifts this week when Amazon Prime arrives!

I can’t wait to see what all of you come up with!!

Good luck!
